Info on Pass Plus

If you wish to further your driver training you may wish to undertake the pass plus course. This course consists of six modules:-

Town driving – Rush hour traffic, judgement and awareness, consideration for vulnerable road users, complicated junctions.

All weather driving – (may need to be theory based dependent on time of year) Rain, fog, snow, ice, bright sunlight.

Rural driving – Making safe progress, Safe overtaking, Special consideration for pedestrians and horse riders, Sharp bends, farm entrances, mud on road.

Night driving – Judging speed and distance, correct use of head lights, dealing with dazzle, pedestrian awareness.

Dual carriageways – Safe driving at speed on multi lane roads, concentration, lane discipline, overtaking.

Motorway driving – Joining and leaving the motorway, safe speed in different circumstances, effective observations, signs, signals and markings.

On successfully completing the course you may be entitled to a substantial discount on car insurance (please refer to your broker for details)
